My new ATI 4890 vid card has two DVI outputs. I was wondering what exactly they are for. I assumed it was for running two monitors at the same time. I've seen people with up to three monitors and all three were running the same website/image.
I was wondering if there was anything else dual DVI outputs could do like, could one output go to my HD LCD monitor so I can surf the net and the other go to my HDTV playing an HD movie??
I really don't know. If anyone knows of any/all uses for dual DVI outputs, please reply. Thanks.
