blue screen error

I've gotten a few blue screens recently and I can't see what it says to try to help the problem because it goes too fast (or I can't read fast enough). Isn't there some key I can press or something I can do to stop the process, or freeze the blue screen, so I can see what it says? Thanks

the blue screen of death, that shows the reason for the restart, then you have to uncheck "auto restart" press the winkey+Pause keys to bring up the system properties, advanced tab, startup and recovery tab settings, and uncheck "automatically restart" box. Then when your pc tries to restart you will get the blue screen instead
