http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif hello thanks for your time!

i have a ASUS PS5 VM Rev. 1.01 with a Phoenix 4.0 Release 6.08 Bios

at the ASUS website they offer an AWARD udate for the PS5 VM board? what do i do?

my system is running at a very slow 233 pace when it is a 500... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif my AUTO setting in startup show a Fireball lct10....(this is correct)... but the cylnders... and head info is wrong? at one time it showed my drive as a Fireball lct08 which matches my cylander and head readings...?

i think i need to flash my bios to get the settings right for my drvie...(ULTRA ATA 100) ( the difference between the lct 08 and lct10...) but i cannot find the right Phoenix update..?

well thanks again for your time!!! dms

By pace do you mean the Processor speed? If this is true you need to make
some changes with jumpers or in BIOS to have the Processor read correct.

Also is the board the P5s vm? Which processor do you have in it?AMD,Pentium, Cyrix?

Look into the user Manual you got with the motherboard on how to do the settings for the Motherboard.
