I have a 3 set disc set from Acme Educational (Vincent Versace - Black & White conversion using Photoshop). Here is the issue: No program on my Dell Inspiron 9300 will play/recognize the "IFO" files. They will play on my wife's Comgaq Presario because she has an older WIN Player.

Question 1: Is there a way to get an "IFO" file formate to work on either Windows Media Player 11 or QuickTime Pro?

Question 2: Is there a way to copy my wife's older WIN Player program file over to mine & have it work? I think this would be ethical since I'm not provided the program to another person? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Question 3: Which converter(s) would you recommend? I know of two - AVS & WINx Player, both around $50.

Question 4: Is there a decent free converter?

Look forward to the responses.

Much Thanks!

Here`s a list of free programs to download after you uninstall QuickTime.

Quicktime alternative (http://www.filehippo.com/download_quicktime_alternative/)
Real Alternative (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/real_alternative.cfm)
VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)
and the one you need for DVD`s is
Media Player Classic (http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/)

Enjoy! ;)
