I use IE 5.5 and I have the autocomplete feature turned on. Where is this info stored on your computer? I have tried clearing the saved forms and passwords, but it freezes up on me all the time. I came across it once, but I can't remember where, any help is appreciated.......
Follow the path in IE:
Tools / Internet Options / Content / Autocomplete Menu / Clear Forms

Perhaps, I didn't make myself clear in my last post. I know the path to clear the forms; Tools>Internet Options>Content>etc.... What I want to know is where does Windows store this info? I know it is a text file, but I can't remember where it is....If anyone knows where I can find this file, please reply........
Your question was clear, please excuse me for rushing to respond. I have since found a link that says the data is encrypted in a file, but that must not be what you are looking for since you know it is a text file.

The only information I can find says the AutoComplete data is stored in the Registry. Here is a ZDNet (http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/stories/solutions/0,8224,2414845,00.html) link. If it were a text file, it could be found by clicking Search (or Find) and putting in a known text string into Containing Text and doing a search on that.
