simply go to your control panel then to system and then device manager then systemdevices show all devices find the acpi controller and right click to update when update pops up choose install from a specific location click next then chose do not search i will choose the driver to install.pick the acpi compliant system install the driver and you should be able to see all your cores restart may be needed been a while dont remember in any case you will have access to dual quad ect cores in task manager. if its a p4 system with hyper threading you may have to turn the hyper thread function on in the bios but as dual core and quad boards dont have this feature if you follow these instructions you will see all your cores in your task manager. sincerely microsoft tech support and service provider Mr.CB. computer consulting service Mr. CB.
