Power-up password

So far, this site has batted 1000 on getting good help. This time I have a Dell Latitude notebook with a forgotten power-up password. Any ideas?

I only know of two ways to do it & in the case of a laptop.....BOTH require opening the case up http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif One is to set mobo to "clear cmos" with a jumper ...the other is to remove cmos battery for bout 10 min......
