I want to buy a new video card for my Dell PowerEdge 400SC...
I have a
3.0 GHz Processor
1.5 G RAM
250 G + 40 G Hard disk
256 M video card (Nvidia FX 5500)

Can anyone help me out in this regard, since i need 512 M video card.

Better off saving for a new computer... you won't get anything much better than an FX5500 that would be worth the money.

It has a 250W PSU, I don't think a graphics card upgrade would be supported.

i'd second what 123456 said, you're better off building a whole new PC

Looked like he's running a P4. Like they said, it's best to buy a new PC. Getting new AGP card won't be worth the money

if you can't afford the extra cash to change the rig an Ati 4650 in agp is about your best option at this stage
