Hi,
I am getting a new laptop shortly. Found the perfect model but it uses 802.11b/g WiFi rather than 802.11n. Is this a major issue? Is 802.11n that much better?
Cheers, Andy

N is better, but it depends on what you use your system for. If you plan on playing online games N is definitely preferred. But if just email and general browsing G is fine.
N also has better range, so that is something to consider. I am still on G myself and get pretty decent range. Though I am considering moving to N next spring when it is warm enough so I can work out on my back patio with a better signal. It isn't a bad signal being about 25-30ft from the house, but I wouldn't mind it being better. :)
