Both aren't good enough to be gaming PC's by today's standards. What's your budget?

I wasn't looking to spend more then $600-$700. I am not looking for a top of the line machine and I don't mind playing some games on lower resolution.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop right now with an integrated graphics card and it won't even let me play low level games without freezing up or crashing.

I was hoping one of these would at least suffice. Could they not play todays games at even low levels?

Well the one is similar from Cyber PC, what is so much better about it then the one I built from Cyber PC?

Also, the Acer, is that a good gaming computer, I thought I read that the video card wasn't reviewed very well.

I appreciate all the help and apologize for asking so many questions. I want to make sure I am up to speed.

The CyberPC one I gave you has a quad core and a bigger HD as opposed to your dual core one. Are you comfy building your own?

I have never built my own CPU but if there were directions I am sure I could figure it out. I guess I need to know what is required and what I need. Is there any reason to have a 500 GB HD instead of a 250 GB HD other then for space, does that affect performance?
