OK, so I'm looking to upgrade my computer as it has become pretty outdated. Only upgrading it a few times since I got it like 5 years ago.

As far as pricing goes I'm in the ballpark of about $600-$850, but going over is perfectly OK, I want all the suggestions you guys can offer.

I'm mostly interested in being able to play the PC games currently out at high settings, and being able to run future games that will be coming out. I am also looking to leave pretty of room for upgrades should I need to do that in the future.

I think I'd be interested in something like an i5, 4gigs of RAM, and a 300-500 GB hardrive.

I already have a monitor (runs at 1680x1050 res), keyboard, mouse, speakers, and DVD drive.

I have also already tried to do some shopping on my own...here's what I have come up with:

CPU+Motherboard combo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.290337

Case + HDD combo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.292105

RAM:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227495

PSU: Newegg.com - RAIDMAX QUANTUM RX-700 700W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC SLI Power Supply - Power Supplies (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152033)

GPU: Newegg.com - HIS H489FT1GP Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Turbo OC Edition - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161278)

All that comes to a total of $846.93. I didn't include a DVD drive because I already have one.

Beyond that, I feel like there are some things that could be changed/cut out, I just don't know too much about that sort of thing. I don't know if the case or power supply could be changed, but I tried to use the information in the other thread and look for combo's from that. some of the combo's were expired and some had new combos, so I don't know if there could be some variations in order to lower the price/improve this build.

Please look over this/improve upon it as seen fit. Sorry for the wall-of-text! Thanks guys! Appreciate the help!

That's a great system. Only thing is the HD might be a little small, but it doesn't matter much - you can always add another.

But, you forgot a heatsink and thermal paste! Especially if you want to OC.

Thank you very much! I appreciate your feedback.

I did actually forget a heatsink, but I already planned to pick up the thermal paste. Thanks for reminding me!

I'm gonna look over all this before I make my decision.
