Looks like that Buddy Phone nailed you down to a static IP address, if your ISP requires that your settings be "Server assigned IP address" then you will have to reconfigure those settings with ones provided by you ISP. I'm thinking MSN? Call your local representative or the Toll-Free support number and have them walk you through it. Unless you have all those written down somewhere?? The area I am talking of is found by:
Double-clicking on "My Computer", then double-click on "Dial-Up Networking", right-click your dial-up connection, then select "Properties",
Click the tab labeled "Server Types", then the button "TCP/IP Settings". Remember how to get here, because tech support will take you here to verify your set up. At least I hope they will. Make sure to ask them to walk you through the settings in Outlook Express as well SMTP & POP3). Let us know if you still have problems after that.
Do you have Outlook installed (not Outlook Express, but another program bundled with MS Office 2000). Some of the security updates for Outlook and Office 2000 have put a tight grip on sending/receiving attachments. Keep us posted http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
