How do I put the win98se disk onto the hard drive so I do not have to insert Win98se cd to search for drivers?
Thank you!!!!!!!!
If you have not installed Windows yet, just create a folder (directory) on the hard drive and copy everything in the WIN98 folder of the CD to it. When you reun setup from there, Windows will know to look there in the future. If Windows is already installed, you'll need to edit the Registry to tell Windows where to look. I avoid fooling around with registry unless it really helps a lot. Why tempt fate. One bad mouse click and you have problems.
If you copy the Win98 directory from CD to hard Drive, you can use browse option every time to have to install new drivers, run filechecker, et cetera. Since you do not have to do this very often, it is not too much of an inconvenience.

Check my site, posted in my signature, I've had to post instructions to do that before, so I put it on the site. I think I might need to redo it, after taking a look it might not be clear enough, but if you have problems, post here and we'll try to clear it up.
