Hey guys,
I've got a Dell desktop that was baught brand new 5 years ago. last week I tried to boot it up and it informed me that it didn't recognize there being either keyboard or mouse plugged into it. currently I've got a wireless keyboard/mouse that uses the same reciever and only takes up a single usb port. I tried patching it to every port on the machine then tried the original mouse and keyboard that came with the machine (wired) in every port. I don't know what else to do to troubleshoot this issue. Is there the possioblitity of a reset button somewhere that will jsut manually force some sort of reset. I've got all the files I want to keep backed up externally and can reinstall programs as I need.
Thanks a lot!
