How do I find out about the speed of processor on my computer? I mean the one that is measured in MHz.
It is not a brand name computer and I don't have the manual!
You can go to http://www.3bsoftware.com and dl a shareware utility called Sisoft Sandra. It will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about your PC.

You can usually tell at the very beginning of the boot process....the FIRST screen will briefly show the processor and amount of RAM.....hit Pause if you need to to freeze the screen that shows it.

Another way is to type DXDIAG from the run menu. Do this by starting from the dscktop's START-->RUN and then typing DXDIAG where it will then show processor speed information among other things.
This will only work if you have DirectX installed in your machine. Run the command to see for yourself. The DXDIAG program is in the path/folder C:\Program Files\DirectX\Setup.

DXDIAG is a very cool program! There are some shareware programs @ znet.com which enable you to see what you have as well...under "Downloads/Utilities" there.
