You will need win98 Second Edition and Network interface cards in both machines......+ cabling (its pretty cheap and you can get it in predetermined lengths).......then go here to get the rest of the story: http://www.helmig.com/j_helmig/mspc2pct.htm
There are MANY other sites that offer help...hopefully someone else will send you to those as well.

Umm, I think you'll need two NICs in your machine - one to connect to the Internet, the other to connect to you local network.
But then, I don't know nothin' 'bout cable modems http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

I doubt you need two NIC's on one machine; however, you probably need a "Hub" to connect both the other PC and the Cable Modem up...I'm no genius on this either;however, we have many who are.........just not on yet today http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thank's for the imformation, that's exactly what I was looking for. If I have any question's I'll be back. Again, thank you both.
2Wire (http://www.2wire.com/products/homeportal_100.asp#flexible) and D-Link (http://www.dlink.com/products/DigitalHome/CableDsl/) have routers that should work well in a home system.
