How do you go about programming a boot sector and parition table to assign a BIOS level (pre boot) key stroke to call partition's boot loader?
HP and Compaq machines use this funation and I happen to notice that Acronis has programmed the ability into its software as well.
I recreated the function using Dell utilities manually and they are dependent a "rom" file being in the bootable partition. But I'm working on HP/Compaq systems now and find this ability to be useful.
