Can I make a VCD from a video cassette??

Just want to know if I can transfer the data from a video cassete to cd format...........does any1 know a way of doing this??

Sure it can be done. You need a TV card, to get the video signal into the computer, and one of several programs that allow you to save the video to the hard drive and convert it to mpeg or avi format, or any of several other video formats. Try a search on Google (http://www.google.com) and you should be able to find some pretty good video editing/converting programs that are shareware or freeware.
