Hi all
Is it a straight forewood job to replace the battery on my m.b.if not what is the recommended procedure? will i lose any data if i just remove the battery?

It's pretty easy to replace the mb battery....1. Unplug power/open the case and look for the Silver "quarter sized" round battery near the area that your PCI devices are connected (ie. near the keyboard connection). 2. using a knife carefully pry it out on the "spring" side of the circle it is seated in. You wont lose any data on your hard drive; however, you will probably want to go into the BIOS (setup) by pushing the delete key (or whatever key gets you into SETUP and choose the "Default" settings for all pages (areas).
