What is PC DOCK?

Earlier this week, I bought a HP/Compaq with Win7 Home Premium. This evening I noticed that the harddrive is cranking as though something is running. I went to Task Manager and saw that PC DOCK is running. I have no idea what it is and it's been running for about an hour and a half and still running. What is it and what is it doing running that long?

I don't see a PC Dock file..... Could you get the name of the file and not the description. I think it's stuff that benefits HP and not you.

I took a closer look at the file and it has something to do with HP Adviser. --some sort of a PC Doctor--I think. I'll look at it closer later on today.
Do you know anything about HP Adviser?

I think it's their personal remote access software. You should be able to disable this and run it if they need access to your system.

Yes--That's what it is. I looked at it and saw that I had it set to load every time my system boots.:eek: So, I disabled it. I sure don't want that running all the time. When I need it, I'll bring it up. Thanks.
