Sharing a scanner

Can I share my Epson Perfection 1200U scanner like i can my printer over a WinME home network? I can't figure it out. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

sure, if you mean the pictures, or scaned files that you make with your scaner. As long as you save them to shared the files within the network I don't see why not.

can you describe what is or isn't happening?

and a bit more system info would be helpful, hope thats what you meant.

What I mean is, can I set up my wifes scanner as a network scanner like I can with her printer. If I want to print something, I have the choice between my printer or her's which is shared across the network. I was wondering if say, I was in Word or Picture It! or something, and I wanted to scan a picture and edit it, can I scan it right into my computer without scanning it into her computer, saving it as a file, and then transfering the file to me? Thanks for your help.
