spybot and administrator

Ive just installed spybot on my laptop, I ran it, but when I try click the fix selected items I get a message saying this can't be done because you are not the administrator - but I am, how do I get around this?

More info, please... what version of Windows? If you got Vista or 7, does UAC ask for anything?

sorry guys - running vista, I just get the message this probablly can't be complete because you are not the administrator. its my partners PC and the only log-on is her. Ive been in user accounts and there is ONLY her in there and under her name it says administrator.
