Does anybody has an idea of how to make the bios see into the contents of the iPod's root and recognize that I have there an os waiting to get into action?
My BIOS fortunately is capable of letting me boot from an usb-FD; in fact, have a version of linux in a MuVo (64 MB) mp3 player made by Creative named DSL (Damn Small Linux) that works perfectly well. So, I'm assuming that if I put another OS in an iPod (being a kind of a Flash Drive) it too could be used to hold a bootable os.
What I've put there is an IsoBuster-estracted file named ebcde. I might have done something wrong while extracting the file but need help in deciding 'what'. I was suppossed to burn the iso-file in a cd but I lack the capability of doing it in this system. I understand that, if my bios is capable of start this os from a cd, it should do the same from an usb-FD. Am I wrong on this?
Thanks in advanced for any help that any of you might give on this subject.
