ok, so I was wondering if there is a sound amplifier that outputs to usb. I basically want something like the boostaroo, http://www.boostaroo.com/store_detail.php4?id=14, but I want to connect my usb speakers to them. Is there such a device?

so, you want to go from usb to usb, to speakers? I haven't heard of it being done before..., why all this USB?

It sounds like you have speakers that are USB, and you want them louder.

The input to the speakers is a digital signal, which then gets converted to an analog sound, and apmplified in the speaker.

Amplifying the USB data will not make the speakers louder.

o ok, that would make sense, so is there any way to amplify the sound coming out of my usb speakers? like maybe a device that amplifies the sounds before they are sent out to the usb then to the speakers?
or am i just talking crazy and this does not exist/cant be done
