3 Beeps and no video signal.

The video signal of my computer would randomly die and the BIOS would keep on beeping 3 times over and over again. So I decided to clean it, and now I can't get a video signal at all just those beeps. By the way could this be a RAM problem? I noticed that my first DIMM slot had a lot of dust in it and when I insert RAM it's looser then usual.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you want serious help, you need to provide more information, such as model numbers, for all the parts in your computer.
Motherboard, CPU, BIOS chip, etc...

3 beeps mean different things to different BIOS chips. It may mean RAM memory error or something else.
If you have two RAM chips, swap them around. If you have 4 RAM chips, take two out, and run it with two.
