How to influence the category display in WinXP's My Computer, which MAY show no categories or show types of connections [HDDs, ODDs, Removables etc], or show categories based on the size of partitions [small, large, huge].

R-click and choose 'sort by...'.

I discovered that View Menu; Arrange Icons By; allows display of contents in the different ways I was asking about.
