I am having problems with the display card for Windows 95.
The display is only 16 bits and monochrome.cannot have 256 colours
which some game software need,I having been trying to locate a driver
unsuccessfully and I hope you can help me to look for one.
MY DISPLAY ADAPTER : Standard Video Display (VGA)

You'll have to find out the make and model of the card. Standard VGA is the generic setting used by Windows as default and works with almost any card, but only at 16 color resolution.

Check Device Manager, if it also says Standard VGA you'll have to open the case and see if you can find any kind of identification on the card itself. Look for a square chip, usually about 1" square, and see what name and number it has on it. Then go to Windrivers (http://www.windrivers.com) and maybe you can find a driver.

You might also be able to find some sort of system info software that will identify the card, but I don't know what to recommend. Check SimTel (http://www.simtel.net/) or Freeware Home ( http://www.freewarehome.org/) and see what they have.
