I have 2 two pc's one is running Windows 95 amd the other is Windows 98. I would like to share printer and internet access between the two. What do I need to purchase to make that happen. Also my internet connection is AOL DSL.

Without installing some sort of network between the two machines and enabling print sharing (depending on which version of 95) a switch box (some of which are electronically controlled) is about it. Post back with a little more info and maybe some could help you make up your mind.

Oops, I missed the internet access, it needs to be the network route.....details still needed, how is the AOL DSL connected (hub, router, its own card...?), how many slots are available in each machine?

If you're running 98SE, you can do internet connection sharing once you network the pcs...or you can get a cable/dsl router linksys, netgear and other companies make them...it connects to your cable/dsl modem and then acts as either a dhcp server or a gateway to the internet with fixed ip addresses for the pcs connected to it...this is pretty easy to set up (as long as you read the instruction manual)

If you go with the router you'll need nics for each computer and the router, if you use internet connection sharing, you'll need 2 nics for the machine connected to the modem (the 98SE machine) and one for the other pc...

I am running the original Windows 98 and the other PC is Windows 95 version B. When can I find the SE version? The Aol DSL uses a DSL modem that is USB.
