I am in process of building a semi-new PC. I am keeping some components from my old pc and after some research i have narrowed my choices to the following new items: (within my budget)

Old components:
Case
HD 300 GB 7200rpm sata
Blueray, DVD burners
Keyborad, mouse
23 acer HD monitor

New components:
CPU:AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
PSU:Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V
VGA:XFX HD-577X-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0
CPU heatsink/fan:COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler
RAM:G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
MOBO:ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD

I am also planning to upgrade to dual monitor within 6-12 months period. I have planned to OC the cpu to maximum possible as well.

I will really appreciate any comments/advise in advance;

I suggest maybe getting more RAM if you can afford it... looks like a great system though. You don't really need a $75 heatsink, one half the price will do just fine.

thank you 123456 for the quick response; the only reason I decided to go with that heatsink was for OC purposes.... Can you recommend me a a more reasonable heatsink that can satisfy that need?
