I am just wondering if these components are compatible and i hope it is from what i been researching and will it be allright if i use the same hard disc drive?

My HDD has windows 7 home premium 64-bit OEM which i do not want too lose.

Also if there is any tips or pointers or anything i need too know with what i am trying to achieve?

I do know that i need to contact microsoft too reactivate my windows..

good luck on making your setup recognize your old HDD with your OS. It would be best if you saved all your data to an external HDD and then formatted the HDD when you install it in your new PC. In most PC's this needs to be done when you change your MOBO and you changed that ++

and I would have thought with that rig (very high powered) that you would have put a better GPU in........but Ok anyways........

You don't say whether you own the OS? and have the disk or is it in a partition on your HDD that was preinstalled?

if you have an OEM copy of windows, then you will need to buy a new one as OEM copies are tied to the original hardware, and attempts to use them on a new computer are a violation of the license conditions, and it may not work either.

an OEM will work if you call them and change your registration to that new PC when you activate
