Every time I start this Dell WinXP E310, the little yellow shield with the "!" shows up. I allow the update to proceed and, to date, I believe that Windows Update has installed KB967715 no fewer than 20 times. ("They're back!" {Poltergeist 1982}). One would logically assume that, once a particular 'fix' has been applied, it does not require a daily reapplication like Calamine Lotion on your poison ivy. :confused:

Turn of your windows update. To do it right click on My Computer then click on properties then go to Automatic updates then click on "Turn off Automatic updates". this will solve your problem.
