I want to build a gaming pc, but my budget is 500$. So i want to know some cheap parts that will allow me to play new games like "The Old Republic" but also parts good enough to last me a while. My case can hold ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards.
I prefer parts from newegg, tigerdirect, or bestbuy.
I need all the parts for the pc: motherboard, ram, hard drive, cpu, etc....
Thanks, for any help.

I am building one as well. I suggest setting a budget for each part and looking at those stores for parts available at given price.

I would avoid Best Buy since almost everything there is over priced.

Check warranties and reviews of each item to make sure you don't get screwed. As well as return policies.

copy and paste links here.

Make sure MB and CPU will fit.

Right now my budget is at $700 for a gaming PC and I am more than positive I am breaking that barrier. Be prepared to do the same as to what kind of games you are looking to play. Never go with bare minimum requirements since they basically mean the game will run but thats about it don't expect a quality experience.

I have a thread on here as well I have some parts I listed and will be listing more. I am looking for a wide range of prices from cheap to higher end. I can post some parts if you want. Just give me a range and what you are looking out of them.

go for the GPU....just what you can afford...doesn't have to be the best one but even a gtx220 nvidia is only 75 bucks these days
