computer don't have ether net card instald are the drivers on the os disk (xp) or do I have to get them some place else.

whare does ethernet card boot fromAll devices boot via the BIOS setup routines and a network boot is no different. But is that what you really mean?

Very many PCI cards would have their drivers included in a WinXP installation. If not you would know by looking at the device in the Device Manager. If not recognised automatically you need to ID the card and search the net for the drivers.
