Ive got a machine with Win98 & NT4 in a dual boot configuration.
Id like to remove NT4 can anyone tell me how to do this?

First use a Windows 98 boot disk to "sys" the C drive. Reboot the system to see if the "NT" boot sector was removed. If that worked.

Then remove the following files

Boot.ini
Ntldr
Ntdetect.com
Pagefile.sys
Bootsec.dos (if there)


Remove the following folder if there is no chance of data loss.

WINNT

Thanks for your reply Ghost hacker, Please excuse my ignorance but just how do I "sys" my C drive?

Boot to the Start Up disk and type
sys_c: then press [Enter]
using a space in place of the underscore ( _ ) used here.

That will transfer the system files from the Start Up disk to C drive.
