I have a number of documents created in the old (ancient?) Lotus Amipro word processor (a windows 3.1 app) which I would like to edit in MS Word. I'm new to Word, and have not found a way to do this. If anyone knows of a utility etc. for this task, please let me know.
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan,
You might try Pembroke (http://www.pembroke-int.com). They have a pretty decent migration suite that will convert your documents.

hi
do you have the option in AMIpRo to save in Rich Text Format ??
if so you should have better luck getting (RTF) to be read by M$-WORD.
note:"This works very well, the only glitch being that it puts all the
graphics at the back of the file but it imports formats, font sizes etc
verbatim."

Thanks for the suggestions. Amipro won't save in rich text, but I found that by copying & pasting an Amipro doc into write or notepad on the old pc, I could save them as an rtf which requires fairly minimal cleanup (mostly spacing) when opened in Word.
