Hi folks, this is my prob, if I have com 2 enabled in the bios my mouse flickers like crazy driving me nuts, this only happens on the net, so is there a conflict with the modem which is on irq4 and the mouse is on irq12.Only been on pc's 16mths so am guessing. I have to disable com2 this results in warning conflict code12 though my pc works fine, does it matter, it stops the mouse going mad. I have tried setting com1 and2 to auto in the bios, but things only work ok with com 2 disabled.
Also what cause's this prob,[primary ide dual fifo dynamically disabled], I got 2 hrd drvs set to auto in bios but get this about once a week, I solve it in the bios by setting to manual then auto and save settings, are these connectd? I think I need peoples experience in bios settings, irq's etc,etc, I have a 400mgz k6-2, win98 2nd,ed. Help gratefully appreciated.
