I have a rather large folder that contains MP3 files which include Artist & Album Title. I want to create a CSV dataset to be used as input to a database or spreadsheet so that I can create a catalog for my DJ 'business' (such as it is). I remember the old DOS dir > filename.ext but that does not include the entire title or the artist and album information I get from Windows Explorer.
Thanks,

In Windows XP and Windows Media Player (7 through 9) one can add Windows Media Player 9 Series Winter Fun Pack 2003 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/wm_winterfun.mspx) plugin.
You can then select the items you want listed in the WMP Library and after a Right Click on them choose Send To "Media Player Exporter". The media information will then be listed in a variety of formats in a variety of applications (eg MS Excel) depending on how you configure things.
That does it for me. For other media players, eg iTunes, I guess there may be similar export functions.
