TV Tuner cards

Hey All

I was thinking of getting a TV Tuner card to play with and I want to learn as much as I can ahead of time. Does anyone here have any advice or links

If you just want to play around get a cheap one for $30-$40. If you find you have real use for it and need something better then go out and spend big bucks on a real nice one.
