i have a compaq pc just had it a year. when i went to my computer icon yesterday i found 2 more drive letters on there? Before i had A,C,D.E,F
E being my dvd drive and f being my cd rom. Now i have G,H, removeable disk there to. Can some one tell me where they came from and how to get rid of them.

Don't try to get rid of them -- everyone can always use more drives.

In My Computer, right-click on G or H, then click Properties.
What happens?
In Device Manager, click the + in front of CDROM and Disk drives.
What does it show?
