I have partitioned my hard drive. I partitioned it so that I could
install win2000 on it. Here's the problem. Windows 2000 has 4 boot disks
and I rebooted the computer with the floppy in it and it won't read the
floppy. I went into cmos to try to change to boot order but I didn't see the option for the floppy disk. I put in another disk just to see if it
would give the error message non system disk but it doesn't even do that.
How can I get it to read the floppy disk before booting up or how can i get around this and get windows 2000 to install on the system.
The system is running win98 first edition.
thanks,
christy

You should be able to change the boot order in BIOS by entering setup. If you for some reason can't do that you can install a generic cd rom driver (try Oak Tech) and run the install from the cd rom (be aware it'll recognize the d drive as e)
