use the tv as a monitor

want to know how to use my tv instead of the monitor with the computer due to size factors . the monitor is only 14 inch while the tv is 21 inch

You'd need a video adapter that has the right connector for TV output.

You'll be very disappointed with it for static, text-based things like
word processing, but it would probably be OK for games.

Depending on your Windows version, you could do both with two video cards.
