How do I remove the extra D-H "drives" from a partitioned disk after moving everything to the first, main C drive?

Welcome, Carrac! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Was your hard drive ever compressed? H: is usually the letter used for that.

If not, you have two choices:

• 1. Back up your data from C:, and start all over with FDISK and a fresh install of Windows

• 2. Get a third-party program like Partition Manager to do the job

And backup your data anyway, any time that you are working with a drive on that level (manipulating th partitions) you should be prepared for disaster......
