Testing tools that can be used to test the performance and functionality of web app?

Can anyone please help me with what testing tools i can use to test the web application and client which has tree view components.
I want to test the performance and functionality for the web application and client i am working for.

You can look out for the QTP( Quick test professional) You won't get a free to download version for it. If you own a organization then only it will be beneficial for you else it is unaffordable, also you won't get the access of all the features unless you buy it
