mPGA478 socket == socket 478 ???

I have P4 computers using socket 478.
And "socket 478" is the term that's used a lot.
Then I see "mPGA478 socket".
I think they are referring to the exact same thing, but just wanted to verify.
I could not find the info which states they are same, but gave me the impression they are the same.

Is "mPGA478 socket" same as the regular "socket 478" used by Pentium 4 processors?

Well, this particular one that I was looking at seems like it's used for Gateway computer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270349566800&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
(it says it has Gateway bios and shows Gateway logo). However, though I was also looking at this motherboard model from Intel site which I assume isn't just made for Gateways.

So, what if it's Gateway? Why do you ask?

I was intending to buy this one to replace my dead P4 socket 478 motherboard... but it seemed too cheap (a new one selling for $30???).
And I wasn't sure about the socket, so I asked here...

Anyway, I decided to go with another used MSI motherboard for $10 plus another $10 for shipping with slight better spec! But I would still like to know whether the mPGA478 socket is same as the usual socket 478. (Hopefully next time I purchase a motherboard, it will be for better and faster processor, but you never know...)

It is the same thing. "mPGA478 socket" is the full name, but usually it is just referred to simply as socket 478 or s478.

I was just asking cause I had a Gateway mobo that was labeled as "mPGA478" and I bought a 2GHz P4 for it and it worked fine with it.
