View Full Version : Clock is off
My clock on my pc is slow. When I shut down my computer and turn it on later, my clock is off. Do I need to repace something in order for the time to work correctly?

If it's slow by about the same amount of time as the PC
was turned off, you should replace your CMOS backup battery.
If it's just a minute or so, it's not quite as critical.

Click here (http://www.pcguide.com/ref/mbsys/mobo/comp_Battery.htm) for a description of battery types.
If it's the flat round kind, you can get one at Wal-Mart, drug stores, etc.
