How do you change the icon picture of your ".zip" files?
just curious, becuase for some reason mine changed and i dont remember doing anything that would make it do so.

Usually that happens when you associate the file type with a different application. For instance, WinZip uses its own icon, if you later install another program to open zip files it will associate itself with zip files and they will then show the icon for that program.
You can sometimes re-associate a program with the file types it supports, and sometimes you can't, check the options or properties for the programs you use to open zip files and see if you can find options to change it.
The best way to avoid this is to check the options during the installation, often it will ask if you want to associate the program with certain file types. Tell it no if you want to open the file with another program by default. You can still use the alternate program, but not by double-clicking the filename. You would have to open the program and use the Open option in the File menu.

I have WinZip on my desktop and changed the icon by right clicking on it then properties then the shortcut tab then change icon, highlite which one I wanted then apply and OK.
Not sure if that's what you were asking?
