Computer shutting off at random

Good day all,
My computer was working fine a few days ago. Now when I boot it up and it reaches the Windows 7 load screen (where it says Starting Windows) the computer shuts off i.e. CPU fan stops spinning and screen goes blank. I am completely dumbfounded at this situation. I have replaced the power supply with a brand new 600W power supply but to the same result. I have done basic troubleshooting such as removing one RAM stick and trying to boot Windows but to no avail. Can someone please help me!!!!

I successfully installed Windows XP SP3 back onto my HD. It successfully booted but then when I tried to access a file on my 1.5TB drive the computer shut off. I am really :confused: as to what is going on with my computer. Could this be a mobo problem? I'm looking for any suggestions to try. Please can anyone help. Much thanks.

I had the same problem, I just cleared my disc:C and everything begin to work properly.
