Hey folks!

I went to do a Scandisk this evening before I went to do a defragment and I got an illegal operation along with this in the 'details' section.

MSGSRV32 caused a general protection fault
in module KRNL386.EXE at 0001:00005e08.

Any idea what this means? It's all golly-wompus to me. The only thing I recognize as something that could be a 'heads up' is KRNL386.EXE but I don't know what to do?

Any help is a good thing! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

D'oh...keep forgetting my OS! It's Windows 98!

Well I'll be gosh-darned...man, I gotta watch my language!

I rebooted my computer and tried Scandisk again and it worked fine! There was also no errors on the disk. Hmph! Ain't that somethin'?
