sometimes i want to insert a certain clipart into my word document using MS-Office 2000, it'll ask me to insert Office 2000 disc, why?

Probably because the default directory for the extra clipart is the cd...

There should have been options when you originally installed Office 2K,
like Typical, Full or Custom. The one you choose will determine how
many files get copied to the hard drive. You should be able to update
your installation to a more complete option by running the install again.

Make sure you have plenty of HD 'real estate'. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hi jonathan_lht I have had this problem myself because I dont use clip art very much these things are overlooked when installing these programs.
I normally store my software out of arms reach so when this happens its a pain.So there are 2 ways round this reinstall or check on the web for the clip art via office 2000 as there is always new clip art on there web site
