Napster isn't around any more in it's old format. Can I uninstall it without hurting my mp3 files on my hard drive. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks. Jim

It shouldn't, but if you have the space you may want to copy them to another folder and the zip it up, that way it shouldn't be able to "find" the copies, just to be safe. Then if it does you can unzip the backup folder.

Jim-Assuming you used had Napster store shared files outside the Napster directory, neither they nor any other mp3's on your HD should be touched. You may lose any partial downloads in the "Napster/Incomplete" file. To be sure, check all files in the Napster directory for anything you don't want to lose & move such files elsewhere on the HD.
